IN THE MATTER OF AN EXTREME RISK FIREARM PROTECTION ORDER FOR _______________________________ _________________ (Respondent's full date of birth)
No. _________________________ ORDER DENYING TEMPORARY EXTREME RISK FIREARM PROTECTION ORDER
THIS MATTER came before this court on a Petition for an Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order. The court, having considered the Petition, Affidavit of the Reporting Party or the Statement from the Law Enforcement Officer, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, hereby DENIES the issuance of a Temporary Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order.
The court does not find, from specific facts shown by the Petition and accompanying Affidavit of the Reporting Party or the Statement from the Law Enforcement Officer, that there is probable cause to believe that Respondent poses a significant danger of causing imminent personal injury to self or others by having in Respondent's custody or control or by purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm before notice can be served and a hearing held. Therefore, the court denies the issuance of a Temporary Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order.
The court further finds there is good cause to deny the issuance of a Temporary Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order for the following reasons: __________________
