The terminology rule at C.R.C.P. 241 and the rules governing lawyer disciplinary proceedings (C.R.C.P. 242 et seq.), lawyer disability proceedings (C.R.C.P. 243 et seq.),

and protective appointment of counsel (C.R.C.P. 244 et seq.) apply to the regulation of LLPs. LLPs have all the obligations and rights of lawyers under those rules. When those rules are applied to LLPs, a reference to a Colorado Rule of Professional Conduct is construed as a reference to the parallel provision in the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct for LLPs.
